Tread Alongside Wild Turtles

We all know about the swimming pigs in the Exumas, but did you know you could get your swim on with a bunch of wild sea turtles too? One of the most common areas visitors go to, to see wild turtles is at Hooper’s Bay. Hoopers Bay is one of the more popular locations that the Exuma turtles go to hang, just a short drive away from George Town, you can literally walk from the beach into the ocean and get lucky enough to encounter these majestic creatures. Even though you will be so close, please make sure not to touch them and to leave them be in their natural habitat. Swim right along side of them and be sure to take lots of photos. This once in a life time opportunity is one that you will cherish for the rest of your life!
