Grand Isle Resort is grateful that Exuma was spared from Hurricane Dorian’s path and the resort remains fully open, however our hearts remain with those that felt its mark. We are committed in our support to the family islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama Island as they rebuild after the devastating impact the storm caused on its people and businesses. To support our brothers and sisters in the northern islands, Grand Isle Resort is happy to offer the Bahamas Strong package from now until December 2020. The resort will donate 10% of the package bookings to recovery efforts in order to implement an immediate relief plan as well as provide longstanding support throughout the year. Part of the funds will be allocated to the Red Cross to help with urgent needs such as food, clean water and shelter. To assist in the long-term reconstruction efforts, Grand Isle Resort plans to collaborate with trusted partners, such as the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association, to support families who have lost their jobs and rebuild institutions that have been destroyed. Our hope is that our contribution will help families in their time of need, and we appreciate the support from our guests and our hotel staff in helping the Northern Bahamas recover.
